CITRIS @ UC Merced is pleased to welcome Dr. Stefano Foresti to the School of Engineering. Stefano will start on December 15, and be working with the School of Engineering as an academic administrator. Stefano holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Pavia, Italy, and spent about 20 years with the University of Utah as an adjunct professor, and as a director of various labs and initiatives. He started his career as a post-doc at IBM in New York. Stefano has long experience working in startups, and he has also taught CSE classes with UC Merced over the past 2 years. Dr....

The 2014 CITRIS @ UC Merced Mobile App Challenge concluded Friday, May 16th with Music Notes taking home the Grand Prize.  This year, the challenge was part of the School of Engineering's annual Innovate to Grow event where students showcase projects they've been working on all semester.  The event began with a poster session in the Gym where students explained and demonstrated their apps to judges and attendees.
