Steven Dinh is the Project Management & Information Security Awareness Intern for CITRIS and the Banatao Institute at UC Merced. During his time as an intern, Steven’s personal project is to research and host the first annual Information Security Symposium at the university. The overall objective of this event is to provide opportunities for the community to increase their knowledge on information security within data intensive organizations and connect educational leaders with industry experience. In addition, some of his responsibilities also include working with CITRIS leadership to oversee all student-intern projects, deadlines, and updates.
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Steven is currently an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelors of science in Management and Business Economics from the University of California, Merced. He is expected to graduate in May of 2017. During his off time from school and work, Steven loves to play computer games, participate in extracurricular activities, and spend time with his family.
