The CITRIS UCM office is located on the third floor of the Sustainability Research and Engineering , adjacent to the Pavilion.

The Sustainability Research and Engineering building is part of the UC Merced 2020 Project that will anchor the new Academic Quad. CITRIS occupies offices, a huddle space, collaborative intern space, and manages a conference room on the state-of-the-art third floor, lending to greater collaboration with Mechanical Engineering and Civil & Environmental Engineering faculty, the Office of Sustainability, and CalTeach, and inspiring the next generation of makers with the maker space. Like all 2020 Project buildings at UC Merced, SRE has Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
